There’s something about the start of a new year that makes everything feel fresh.

Maybe it’s the fresh dusting (ok, not dusting, dumping) of snow.  Maybe it’s the crisp pages of the brand new textbooks for Winter Quarter lining my “current reads” bookshelf in the office.  Maybe it’s the simple switch from writing 2009 to writing 2010.  Whatever it is, it’s kind of refreshing… like a breath of fresh air.

I have always loved the start of something new, and today is no different.

when the world has fallen out from under me
I’ll be found in You, still standing
when the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees
when time and space are through
I’ll be found in You

You make all things new.
